British Columbia invited up to 357 skilled regional candidates

On September 21, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified regional candidates, including Tech workers.

In the General draw, BC issued 341 invitations, with a minimum score of 70 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214), the province invited 11 candidates.

Additionally, less than 5 invitations have been issued for the regional healthcare workers.

In total, the province invited up to 357 regional candidates. In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 7,198 invitations.

Quebec held the largest Arrima draw of 2022

On September 20, 2022, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the 36th invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima.

On September 8, 2022, MIFI invited 1,202 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

Candidates invited in this round had a valid job offer outside the territory of the Montreal Metropolitan Community.

In 2022, MIFI issued 3,843 invitations. Since the launch of Arrima in July 2019, the government of Quebec invited 10,115 foreign nationals in 36 draws to apply for immigration to Quebec.

Ontario issued 823 invitations through the Masters Graduate stream

On September 20, 2022, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued 823 invitations to apply (ITAs) to potential candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool for the Masters Graduate stream.

The minimum score of this round was 33 points, 4 points fewer than in the previous program-specific draw.

The profiles of selected candidates were created between September 20, 2021, and September 20, 2022. In 2022, the province invited 2,630 candidates under this stream.

In total, Ontario invited 15,397 candidates under all streams in 2022.

Saskatchewan invited 326 skilled candidates under the SINP

On September 15, 2022, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 53 ITAs. Another 273 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 60 points, 10 points fewer than it was in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates under 6 different NOCs.
