On January 10, 2023, the Government of Ontario held new draws in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
The province issued 402 targeted invitations to apply (ITAs) to skilled trades occupations and 2 ITAs to candidates who may qualify for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP).
All invitees have their profiles created in the Express Entry system between November 22, 2022, to January 10, 2023.
The minimum score for the targeted skilled trades occupations was 35.

On January 11, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 5,500 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under Express Entry.
In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs.
In round #237, the cut-off score was 507 points, 16 points more than the previous draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was December 6, 2022, at 11:00:07 UTC. As of January 11, 2023, there are 243,255 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 11,040 more than the previous update.
Last year, Canada issued 46,538 ITAs through Express Entry.

On January 5, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the first invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program 2023.
In this round, SINP invited 50 candidates. This round's highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score was 130 points. The average score was 95 points.
The lowest score was 80, and those applicants were invited to apply only if they scored a CLB level of 6 or higher in English or French.
In 2022, Saskatchewan invited 10,903 candidates, including 325 entrepreneurs.

On January 4, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.
In the general draw, the province invited 163 candidates.
The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 82-105 points. In addition, British Columbia invited 28 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).
In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 20 candidates.
In total, the province invited up to 211 candidates for this draw. Last year, British Columbia issued 9,018 invitations.
