On April 20, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
In round #176, the MPNP held a new occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream and invited 249 applicants who scored 615 points and above.
Manitoba also issued 194 LAAs in the regular SWM draw. The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 651 points, 19 points fewer than the previous draw.
In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 26 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The lowest score in the SWO category was 719 points, 11 points more than in the previous draw. In addition, 38 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. Manitoba has issued LAAs to 507 candidates, including 91 Express Entry candidates for this round.
In 2023, MPNP invited 3,881 candidates, and 607 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

On April 20, 2023, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 623 ITAs. Another 444 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.
The lowest score in both categories was 69, 13 points fewer than in the previous draws. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.
In this draw, Saskatchewan invited 1,067 candidates under 38 different NOCs.
In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 2,088 skilled immigrants and entrepreneurs in five draws under the SINP.

On April 18, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.
In the general draw, the province invited 158 candidates.
The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 85-107 points.
The province issued 29 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).
In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 16 candidates who scored 60 points.
In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates working in other priority occupations. In total, the province issued up to 208 ITAs in this draw.
This year, British Columbia has already invited 3,536 candidates.

On April 12, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 3,500 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under Express Entry.
In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs. In round #246, the cut-off score was 486 points, five points more than in the previous all-program draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was July 19, 2022, at 11:05:24 UTC. As of April 12, 2023, there are 231,119 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 3,828 fewer than the previous update.
In 2023, Canada issued 41,059 ITAs through ten Express Entry draws.
