On September 4, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the third occupation-specific Express Entry draw of the year for candidates working in healthcare and social services occupations.
In round #441, IRCC issued 3,500 Invitations to Apply (ITA), and the cut-off score was 475 points (the same as it was in the last draw for this category). The tie-breaking rule for this round was May 26, 2026, at 00:26:14 UTC. As of August 30, 2026, 226,673 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool.
So far in 2026, the Government of Canada has issued 126,156 invitations under Express Entry.

On September 3, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the third Express Entry draw for Physicians with Canadian Work Experience. IRCC issued 229 Invitations to Apply (ITA) in this draw.
In round #440, the cut-off score was only 198 points, 25 fewer than in the previous round for this category, held on June 24. So far in 2026, the Government of Canada has issued 122,656 invitations under 52 Express Entry draws.

On August 31, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the Express Entry draw #438 for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates.
The Government of Canada issued 562 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), and the round’s cut-off score was 697 points, 63 points fewer than the previous PNP-targeted draw. It was the lowest CRS for the PNP candidates in 2026 to date.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was April 12th, 2026, at 04:32:26 UTC. As of August 30, 226,673 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool. This year, the Government of Canada invited 120,427 Express Entry candidates, including 7,961 PNP candidates.

On August 28, 2026, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Francisation et Integration (MIFI) published the results of the 87th invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima, which were conducted on August 27, 2026.
MIFI invited 87 candidates under Stream 1 (Highly qualified and specialized skills), around 580 candidates under Stream 2 (Intermediate and manual skills), 109 candidates under Stream 3 (Regulated professions), and 21 candidates under Stream 4 (Exceptional talent). So far, MIFI has invited 24,560 candidates through Arrima in 2026.
