On June 3, 2026, Alberta released the results of several recent Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) draws. Between May 20 and June 2, 2026, the province issued 1,550 invitations across multiple streams and pathways.
The largest draw took place on May 27 through the Alberta Opportunity Stream, which invited 993 candidates with a minimum score of 51. Alberta also invited 200 candidates through the Accelerated Tech Pathway on May 29 and 83 candidates through the Rural Renewal Stream on May 25.
Additional invitations were issued through the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors pathway, including manufacturing (148 invitations), agriculture (76 invitations), and construction and skilled trades (50 invitations), with minimum scores ranging from 48 to 61. So far, Alberta has invited 7,412 candidates through the AAIP streams in 2026.

On June 2, 2026, the Government of British Columbia held new invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and issued invitations to apply to skilled candidates with work experience in healthcare, childcare, construction, and veterinary care occupations.
The province issued a total of 342 invitations – 117 healthcare professionals, 6 veterinary care professionals, 91 Early Childhood Educators (ECE), and 128 construction workers.
The minimum scores for these draws were 100, 92, 111, and 101 points, respectively. This year, British Columbia has already invited up to 2,772 candidates.

On June 2, 2026, British Columbia held a new draw under the entrepreneur streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
The province issued 15 invitations under the Entrepreneur Immigration Base stream, which is designed for experienced entrepreneurs seeking to establish a new business or acquire an existing one in British Columbia.
In addition, British Columbia invited fewer than five candidates under the Entrepreneur Immigration Regional stream. The minimum score for both streams was 117 points.
In 2025, British Columbia issued up to 132 invitations through entrepreneur immigration draws. So far in 2026, the province has issued 2,772 invitations under the BCPNP, with up to 84 invitations going to entrepreneur candidates.

On May 28, 2026, Newfoundland and Labrador held the sixth round of selection through the Enhanced Expression of Interest (EOI) system, issuing a total of 103 invitations.
Of these, 84 were sent to candidates under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP), while 19 went to applicants through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
Last year, Newfoundland and Labrador invited a total of 3,376 applicants under the NLPNP and AIP. So far, the province has invited 1,379 candidates in 2026.
