Saskatchewan invited 468 candidates under the SINP

On December 21, 2022, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 153 ITAs. In addition, another 315 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.

The lowest score in both categories was 80 points, 2 points fewer than in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates under 109 different NOCs. This year, Saskatchewan has already invited 10,903 candidates.

British Columbia issued 173 invitations in the new BCPNP draws

On December 20, 2022, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 153 invitations with a minimum score of 90 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214), the province invited 15 candidates.

A further 5 invitations were issued to skilled workers, international graduates, and entry-level and semi-skilled workers scoring at least 60 points.

In total, the province invited up to 173 candidates. In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 9,018 invitations.

Thunder Bay issued 106 recommendations in two draws

On September 20, 2022, Thunder Bay, ON, issued new community recommendations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).

The city approved the applications of 40 candidates whose evaluations scored as low as 47%.

In addition, the city issued additional 66 community recommendations on October 18, 2022.

The evaluation scores of these candidates were as low as 46%. In 2021, the community recommended a total of 96 candidates.

Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) has recommended 281 candidates this year.

OINP invited 936 candidates under the Human Capital Priorities Stream

On December 19, 2022, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new round of invitations in the Tech Draw under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

In this draw, OINP issued 936 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with work experience in one of the in-demand occupations.

Those candidates' CRS Express Entry score was between 484-490 points. All invited candidates work in one of the following occupations:

• NOC 21211 Data Scientists • NOC 21231 Software engineers and designers • NOC 21230 Computer systems developers and programmers • NOC 21232 Software developers and programmers • NOC 21234 Web developers and programmers • NOC 21233 Web designers • NOC 21223 Database analysts and data administrators • NOC 21311 Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)

Ontario invited 4,012 candidates through the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream this year. In 2022 Ontario issued 21,121 invitations under all streams of OINP.
