The SINP invited 1,032 candidates under the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand categories

On May 3, 2023, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 739 ITAs.

Another 293 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 68, one point fewer than in the previous draws.

All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited 1,032 candidates under 32 different NOCs.

In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 3,154 skilled immigrants and entrepreneurs in five draws under the SINP.

Saskatchewan invited 34 candidates under the Entrepreneur Program

On May 4, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the third invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program 2023 and invited 34 entrepreneurs.

This round's highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score was 125 points.

The average score was 105 points. The lowest score was 100. The province will conduct the next EOI pool selections on July 6, 2023, September 7, 2023, and November 2, 2023.

According to the new update, candidates cannot change their business plans after applying to the program.

BC invited over 170 candidates in the new BCPNP draws

On May 2, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.

In the general draw, the province invited 133 candidates.

The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 85-107 points. The province issued 22 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 16 candidates who scored 60 points. In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates working in other priority occupations.

In total, British Columbia issued up to 176 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 3,880 candidates.

Manitoba invited candidates under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream

On April 27, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #177, the MPNP held a new draw under the Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) stream and issued 558 LAAs to eligible candidates (344 to Express Entry candidates).

The lowest score in the SWO category was 616 points, 103 points fewer than in the previous draw.

In general, the MPNP invites candidates under three streams: Skilled workers in Manitoba, SWO, and the International Education Stream.

In this round of invitations, Manitoba held an SWO-only draw. In 2023, MPNP invited 4,439 candidates, and 951 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
