BCPNP invited 211 candidates in the new draw

On June 13, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates. In the general draw, the province invited 170 candidates.

The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 87-107 points. The province issued 23 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 18 candidates who scored 60 points. In total, British Columbia issued 211 ITAs in this draw.

This year, British Columbia has already invited 4,966 candidates.

SINP invited 500 skilled candidates in June 2023

On June 8, 2023, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 232 ITAs. Another 268 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.

The lowest score in both categories was 69, two points more than in the previous draws.

All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited 500 candidates under 18 different NOCs.

In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 4,698 skilled immigrants and entrepreneurs in eight draws under the SINP.

IRCC invited 4,800 candidates through the all-program Express Entry draw

On June 8, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,800 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under Express Entry.

In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs. In round #250, the cut-off score was 486 points, two points fewer than in the previous all-program draw.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was May 19, 2023, at 14:04:00 UTC. As of June 8, 2023, there are 222,166 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 4,676 fewer than in the previous update.

In 2023, Canada issued 54,748 ITAs through fourteen Express Entry draws.

BC invited over 160 skilled candidates under the BCPNP

On June 6, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 112 invitations with a minimum score of 90 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 24 candidates who scored 60 points. In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 21 invitations. Additionally, fewer than five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).

The province invited up to 162 candidates with a score of 60-90 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 4,755 invitations.
