On March 16, 2023, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held new rounds of invitations in Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.
The province issued 271 Invitations to Apply for the Francophone candidates. The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) range of candidates who received the Notification of Interest (NOI) from the OINP was between 291-489 points.
In addition, the province invited 344 candidates with CRS scores between 400-489.
In 2022, Ontario issued 9,934 invitations to eligible candidates under all streams of the OINP.

On March 15, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 7,000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under Express Entry.
In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs.
In round #243, the cut-off score was 490 points, the same as in the previous all-program draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was February 16, 2023, at 10:33:06 UTC.
As of March 15, 2023, there are 245,121 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 1,747 more than the previous update.
In 2023, Canada issued 23,559 ITAs through Express Entry.

On March 14, 2023, the Government of Ontario held new draws in the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream (EJO IS) and Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
The province held two draws in the EJO IS Stream and issued 906 invitations to apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates working in the skilled trades, healthcare, and tech occupations.
In addition, Ontario held another targeted draw of the OINP for candidates of the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP).
In this draw, Ontario issued two targeted invitations to apply to candidates in the EOI pool who may be eligible for the federal EMPP under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.
In total, OINP issued invitations to 9,319 candidates in 2023.

On March 14, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) published a new update regarding the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).
As of March 14, 2023, there were around 1,490 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 450 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.
In addition, on March 9, 2023, Alberta held a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 134 Notifications of Interest (NOI) with a minimum score of 301.
