Prince Edward Island held a new draw and invited 46 skilled candidates

On March 30, 2023, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams and invited 113 candidates under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).

The PEIPNP issued a total of 1,854 invitations in 2022.

This year, PEI invited 754 candidates, including 735 under the Labour Impact and Express Entry categories and 19 business candidates.

BCPNP invited seven candidates in the Base category of the Entrepreneur Stream

On March 30, 2023, British Columbia held a new draw for business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

The province invited seven candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream. The lowest score of this round was 115 points, one point fewer than the previous draw.

The maximum number of possible points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid is 200. 120 points candidates can get for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc.

British Columbia invited new candidates under the BCPNP

On March 31, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 165 invitations with a minimum score of 85 points. In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 23 candidates who scored 60 points.

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 23 invitations too. Additionally, fewer than five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).

The province invited up to 216 candidates with a score of 60-85 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 3,021 invitations. #British_Columbia, #BCPNP, #EEBC, #Skills_Immigration, #PNP, #ECE, #BCPNP_Tech

Sudbury considered 27 applications under the RNIP

On March 29, 2023, the City of Greater Sudbury held a new round of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).

In this round, Sudbury considered 27 candidates.

The lowest score of these draws was 270 points, 25 points more than in the previous draw.

Five of these candidates were drawn through the Francophone Stream. Last year, in total, 154 applicants were invited.

Sudbury has recommended at least 276 individuals under the RNIP since the program's launch. So far, the city has considered 76 candidates in 2023. #Sudbury, #RNIP, #Ontario, #community_recommendation, #rural_immigration
