Manitoba held new draws under the MPNP

On May 4, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #178, the MPNP held a new occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream and invited 252 applicants who scored 606 points and above.

Manitoba also issued 199 LAAs in the regular SWM draw. The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 650 points, one point fewer than the previous draw.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 49 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

The lowest score in the SWO category was 699 points, 20 points fewer than in the previous draw. In addition, 39 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. Manitoba has issued LAAs to 539 candidates, including 204 Express Entry candidates for this round.

In 2023, MPNP invited 4,978 candidates, and 1,155 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

New Brunswick invited new candidates via the Express Entry stream

In April 2023, the provincial Government of New Brunswick issued new Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the three Express Entry streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP).

The province issued 45 ITAs under the New Brunswick Employment Connection stream, 27 ITAs through the New Brunswick Student Connection stream, and 14 ITAs under the Express Entry Occupations In-Demand Connection stream.

In total, New Brunswick has invited 86 candidates in April. In 2023, 416 candidates received ITAs under these three NBPNP streams.

The SINP invited 1,032 candidates under the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand categories

On May 3, 2023, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 739 ITAs.

Another 293 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 68, one point fewer than in the previous draws.

All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited 1,032 candidates under 32 different NOCs.

In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 3,154 skilled immigrants and entrepreneurs in five draws under the SINP.

Saskatchewan invited 34 candidates under the Entrepreneur Program

On May 4, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the third invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program 2023 and invited 34 entrepreneurs.

This round's highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score was 125 points.

The average score was 105 points. The lowest score was 100. The province will conduct the next EOI pool selections on July 6, 2023, September 7, 2023, and November 2, 2023.

According to the new update, candidates cannot change their business plans after applying to the program.
