On July 12, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw, selecting candidates for French language proficiency.
In round #258, IRCC issued 3,800 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to qualified candidates. This round had the lowest cut-off score – 375, 64 points fewer than the previous draw for this category.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was June 15, 2023, at 23:49:05 UTC. As of July 12, 2023, there were 209,263 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool.
This year, Canada issued 69,148 ITAs through the Express Entry draws.

On July 11, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 800 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under Express Entry.
In this draw, IRCC invited candidates under all immigration programs. In round #257, the cut-off score was 505 points, 6 points fewer than in the previous all-program draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was October 01, 2022, at 06:13:05 UTC.
As of July 11, 2023, there are 209,263 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 5,266 fewer than in the previous update.
In 2023, Canada issued 65,348 ITAs through Express Entry draws.

In June 2023, the provincial Government of New Brunswick issued new Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the three Express Entry streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP).
The province issued 28 ITAs under the New Brunswick Employment Connection stream, 64 ITAs through the New Brunswick Student Connection stream, and 29 ITAs under the Express Entry Occupations In-Demand Connection stream.
In total, New Brunswick invited 121 candidates in June. In 2023, 630 candidates received ITAs under these three NBPNP streams.

On July 11, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.
In the general draw, the province invited 152 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 87-109 points.
The province issued 35 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).
In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 15 candidates who scored 60 points. In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates working in other priority occupations.
In total, British Columbia issued up to 207 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 5,654 candidates.
