British Columbia conducted a new draw under the BCPNP

On July 25, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.

In the general draw, the province invited 175 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 87-109 points.

The province issued 30 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 20 candidates who scored 60 points. In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates working in other priority occupations.

In total, British Columbia issued up to 230 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 6,056 candidates.

Ontario invited 95 French-speaking candidates in the new OINP draw

On July 25, 2023, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) held the fifth round of invitations in Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.

In this round, the OINP issued 95 Invitations to Apply for the Francophone candidates.

The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) range of candidates who received the Notification of Interest from the OINP was between 321 and 374 points.

The Express Entry profiles of the candidates were created between July 25, 2022, and July 25, 2023. In 2023, Ontario invited 1,127 FSSW candidates.

Alberta invited new candidates under the latest occupation-specific AAIP draws

On July 21, 2023, the Government of Alberta published the results of the new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream.

The province held two draws under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

On July 11, 2023, Alberta invited 150 candidates with Alberta job offer in the tourism and hospitality sector, while on July 13, the AAIP invited 142 candidates under the Family Connection pathway.

As of July 21, 2023, the province invited 2,012 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry and issued 6,003 nomination certificates.

Prince Edward Island held a new draw in July 2023

On July 20, 2023, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).

In this round of invitations, the province issued 97 invitations to apply to candidates under the Critical Worker Stream working for a PEI Employer and having the EOI score 50 points and more.

PEI also invited nine candidates to the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for business candidates was 80 points, two points fewer than in the June draw.

This year, PEI invited 1,639 candidates. According to the schedule, the next PEI PNP draw will occur on August 3, 2023.
