In round #256, IRCC issued 2,300 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to qualified candidates. This round had the lowest cut-off score of 2023 – 439 points! The tie-breaking rule for this round was January 20, 2023, at 17:18:32 UTC.
As of July 4, 2023, there were 214,529 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool.
This year, Canada issued 64,548 ITAs through the Express Entry draws.

On July 6, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the second occupation-specific Express Entry draw and issued 1500 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates working in healthcare occupations.
In round #255, the cut-off score was 463 points, 13 points fewer than in the previous healthcare-targeted Express Entry draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was June 19, 2023, at 06:41:05 UTC. As of July 4, 2023, there were 214,529 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool.
This year, Canada issued 62,248 ITAs through the Express Entry draws.

On July 6, 2023, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new invitation draw under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
In the latest tech draw, the OINP issued 748 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with work experience in one of the in-demand tech occupations.
Those candidates' CRS Express Entry score was between 479-485 points. The OINP invited candidates under nine national occupational codes (NOC) in this draw.
In 2023, Ontario issued 20,946 invitations under all streams of OINP, including 8,499 candidates under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

On July 6, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the fourth invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program 2023 and invited 35 entrepreneurs.
This round's highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score was 125 points. The average score was 110 points. The lowest score was 105.
The province will conduct the next EOI pool selections on September 7, 2023, and November 2, 2023. According to the new update, candidates cannot change their business plans after applying to the program.
They also cannot change their Business Performance Agreement after the SINP approval. In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 4,733 candidates under all streams, including 173 entrepreneurs.
