Manitoba invited 558 candidates through the MPNP

On September 7, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #193, the MPNP held a new occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream and invited 230 applicants who scored 595 points and above.

Manitoba also issued 236 LAAs in the regular SWM draw.

The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 640 points, 6 points fewer than the previous draw. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 40 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

The lowest score in the SWO category was 724 points, the same as in the previous draw. In addition, 52 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream.

Manitoba has issued LAAs to 558 candidates, including 158 Express Entry candidates for this round. In 2023, MPNP invited 11,169 candidates, and 2,972 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

Ontario invited 300 French-speaking candidates in the new OINP draw

On September 7, 2023, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) held the sixth round of invitations in Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.

In this round, the OINP issued 300 Invitations to Apply for the Francophone candidates.

The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) range of candidates who received the Notification of Interest from the OINP was between 308 and 434 points.

The Express Entry profiles of the candidates were created between September 7, 2022, and September 7, 2023. In 2023, Ontario invited 1,427 FSSW candidates.

The BCPNP invited 222 Skills Immigration candidates

On September 6, 2023, the Government of British Columbia held new invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.

In the general draw, BC invited 160 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 89-110 points.

The province issued 43 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 19 candidates who scored 60 points. In total, British Columbia issued 222 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 7,225 candidates.

Alberta invited candidates under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway

On September 5, 2023, the Government of Alberta published the results of the new invitation rounds in the Alberta Express Entry Stream.

The province held a new draw under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). On August 29, 2023, Alberta invited 18 candidates with Alberta job offer in the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway.

The minimum score for this draw was 300, 26 points fewer than in the previous draw.

As of September 5, 2023, the province invited 2,859 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry and issued 7,255 nomination certificates.
