British Columbia invited over ten candidates under the new entrepreneur draws

On February 28, 2023, British Columbia held new draws for business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). BC PNP invited seven candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream.

The lowest score of this round was 116 points, 1 point more than the previous draw.

In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 112.

The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200. Candidates can get 120 points for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc.

Another 80 points are given for the business concept. British Columbia issued 2,031 invitations this year, including up to 20 entrepreneurs.

Alberta held a new invitation round under the AAIP

On February 28, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) published a new update regarding the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

As of February 28, 2023, there were around 1,370 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 450 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

In addition, on February 16, 2023, Alberta held a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 100 Notifications of Interest (NOI) with a minimum score of 357.

In 2022, the province invited 2,449 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry. This year, Alberta invited 300 Express Entry candidates under the AAIP. #Alberta, #AAIP, #PNP, #ITA, #Nomination_certificate, #Express_Entry

The BCPNP issued 169 invitations to skilled workers and tech candidates

On February 28, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 145 invitations with a minimum score of 83 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 18 candidates who scored 60 points.

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued six invitations. In this draw, the province invited up to 169 candidates. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia issued 2,031 invitations. #British_Columbia, #BCPNP, #EEBC, #Skills_Immigration, #PNP, #ECE, #BCPNP_Tech

Manitoba invited candidates in Ukraine draw #11

On February 24, 2023, the next day after draw #169, the Government of Manitoba held the eleventh draw for Ukrainian candidates.

The province invited 13 candidates through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) in this draw.

To be eligible, applicants must be Ukrainian citizens, have a minimum of CLB 4 in each language band, have connections to the province (close relative, community ties, previous employment or studies in Manitoba), and score at least 60 points in the EOI registration points-grid, and possess a valid language test in one of the official languages.

In total, the province invited 1,583 candidates in 2023, including 34 Ukrainian nationals.
