Nova Scotia invited healthcare professionals

On November 3, 2023, the Provincial Government of Nova Scotia invited candidates to participate in the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot (HPIP).

Candidates who want to continue this process should contact the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness. Only those who receive a valid job offer from the Nova Scotia Health Authority may immigrate to Nova Scotia as a healthcare professional through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) or the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) Skilled Worker Stream.

Applicants who participate in the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot and receive a nomination under the Skilled Worker stream or an endorsement under the Atlantic Immigration Program are not granted 600 points under the Express Entry system.

The Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot exclusively employs non-Express Entry immigration pathways.

Manitoba invited skilled candidates and Ukrainian nationals

On November 2, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #198, the MPNP issued 204 LAAs in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 785 points, 156 points more than the previous draw. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 65 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

The lowest score in the SWO category was 708 points, 107 points more than in the previous draw. In addition, 131 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream.

Manitoba has issued LAAs to 400 candidates, including 60 Express Entry candidates for this round.

The next day, November 3, 2023, the Government of Manitoba held the 19th draw for Ukrainian candidates and invited 36 candidates under the MPNP. In total, the province invited 13,881 candidates in 2023, including 295 Ukrainian nationals.

The PEIPNP issued invitations under the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams

On November 2, 2023, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams and invited 41 candidates under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).

This draw invited candidates working in the Healthcare, Manufacturing, Food Processing, and Agriculture sectors.

The province invited 2,183 candidates this year, including 2,129 candidates under the Labour Impact and Express Entry categories and 54 business candidates.

According to the schedule, the next PEI PNP draw will occur on November 16, 2023.

Saskatchewan invited more business candidates under the SINP

On November 2, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the sixth invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program 2023 and invited 13 entrepreneurs.

This round's highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score was 155 points.

The average score was 130 points. The lowest score was 115. According to the new update, candidates cannot change their business plans after applying to the program.

They also cannot change their Business Performance Agreement after the SINP approval. In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 5,510 candidates under all streams, including 209 entrepreneurs.
