New Brunswick invited 175 candidates under the NBPNP

In August 2023, the provincial Government of New Brunswick issued new Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the three Express Entry streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP).

The province issued 54 ITAs under the New Brunswick Employment Connection stream, 37 ITAs through the New Brunswick Student Connection stream, and 84 ITAs under the Express Entry Occupations In-Demand Connection stream.

In total, New Brunswick invited 175 candidates in August. In 2023, 1,064 candidates received ITAs under these three NBPNP streams.

British Columbia invited new candidates through the entrepreneur draws

On September 12, 2023, British Columbia held new draws for business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). BCPNP invited five candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream.

The lowest score of this round was 118 points, one point more than it was in the previous draw. In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 126.

The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200. Candidates can get 120 points for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc. Another 80 points are given for the business concept.

British Columbia issued 7,418 invitations this year, including up to 74 entrepreneurs.

BC invited 133 tech professionals and 50 skilled candidates

On September 12, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 133 invitations with a minimum score of 88 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 36 candidates who scored 60 points.

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 14 invitations.

The province invited 183 candidates with a score of 60-88 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 7,418 invitations.

Saskatchewan invited 23 candidates under the Entrepreneur Program

On September 7, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the fifth invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program 2023 and invited 23 entrepreneurs.

This round's highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score was 140 points. The average score was 115 points. The lowest score was 105.

The province will conduct the following EOI pool selections on November 2, 2023. According to the new update, candidates cannot change their business plans after applying to the program.

They also cannot change their Business Performance Agreement after the SINP approval.

In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 5,398 candidates under all streams, including 196 entrepreneurs.
