Ontario invited 72 candidates under the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream

On September 22, 2021, the Government of Ontario held a new draw in the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream (EJO IDS) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

The province issued 65 invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates with job offers from the healthcare, agricultural, and manufacturing sectors, and 7 candidates were invited under the targeted draw for Regional Immigration Pilot. All invited candidates work in one of the following occupations:

Health and agricultural occupations: • NOC 3413 – nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates • NOC 4412 – home support workers and related occupations, excluding housekeepers • NOC 8431 – general farmworkers • NOC 8432 – nursery and greenhouse workers • NOC 8611 – harvesting labourers • NOC 9462 – industrial butchers and meat cutters, poultry preparers and related workers Manufacturing (outside the GTA only): • NOC 9411 – machine operators, mineral and metal processing • NOC 9416 – metalworking and forging machine operators • NOC 9417 – machining tool operators • NOC 9418 – other metal products machine operators • NOC 9421 – chemical plant machine operators • NOC 9422 – plastics processing machine operators • NOC 9437 – woodworking machine operators • NOC 9446 – industrial sewing machine operators • NOC 9461 – process control and machine operators, food, beverage and associated products processing • NOC 9523 – electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and testers • NOC 9526 – mechanical assemblers and inspectors • NOC 9536 – industrial painters, coaters and metal finishing process operators • NOC 9537 – other products assemblers, finishers and inspectors So far, OINP has issued invitations to 11,953 candidates under all streams of the OINP in 2021.

Ontario issued 995 invitations in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker and International Student Streams

On September 21, 2021, the Government of Ontario held a new draw in the Employer Job Offer:

Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) and International Student Stream (EJO IS) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

The province issued 442 invitations to apply (ITAs) to the eligible candidates through the EJO FW Stream with a minimum score of 37, and 553 ITAs to international students through the EJO IS Stream with a score of 61 and above.

In total, OINP issued invitations to 11,881 candidates under all streams of the OINP in 2021.

British Columbia invited 74 candidates under the BCPNP Tech

On September 21, 2021, British Columbia held a new draw in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Tech Program (BC PNP Tech).

In this draw, the province invited 74 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate.

The lowest score in all categories was traditionally 80 points. In 2021, British Columbia invited 1,388 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the BCPNP Tech. In total, BCPNP issued 8,665 ITAs to date.

Saskatchewan issued 51 invitations for international graduates under the SINP

On September 20, 2021, Saskatchewan updated the number of spots remaining through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for international graduates in the framework of the temporary immigration policy.

The provincial government has allocated 1,000 spots for direct submission of a nomination application for those who resided in the province on September 1, 2020, and has completed an academic program in the province.

Since the last week, the province has accepted 51 applications, and 491 spots remain available.

SINP updates this data every Monday. Since the launch of the program, SINP has accepted 509 applications from international graduates.
