51 candidates invited under the BCPNP Tech

On August 10, 2021, British Columbia held a new draw in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Tech Program (BC PNP Tech). In this draw, the province invited 51 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate. The lowest score in all categories traditionally was 80 points. In 2021, British Columbia invited 1,206 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the BCPNP Tech. On August 9, 2021, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) published new nomination issuance statistics. In June 2021, the province nominated 514 skilled workers, 1 business candidate, and approved 2 business concepts. In July, MPNP nominated 419 skilled workers. Manitoba refused 1 business concept in June. The province also refused 1 profile of skilled worker and 1 business concept in July. MPNP invited 1,300 skilled workers, 3 business candidates and approved 11 business concepts in June, while in July it sent LAAs to 1,791 skilled workers, 3 business candidates, and approved 5 business concepts. MPNP received 470 applications from skilled workers and 1 application from a business candidate in June and 626 applications from skilled workers and 1 application from a business candidate in July. Saskatchewan issued 452 ITAs in the new round of SINP

On August 5, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new round of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). This time, SINP issued 452 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 171 ITAs. Another 281 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 73 points. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 65 different NOCs. Alberta issued 148 NOI and updated the AINP inventory

On August 5, 2021, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). As of August 3, 2021, there are around 1,375 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 300 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. In addition, on July 27, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 148 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The lowest score in this round was 300 points, one point fewer than in the previous draw.
