IRCC issued 4,800 ITAs in the new all-program Express Entry draw

On May 24, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,800 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under Express Entry.

In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs.

In round #249, the cut-off score was 488 points, five points more than in the previous all-program draw.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was December 26, 2022, at 01:12:48 UTC. As of May 24, 2023, there are 226,842 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 1,454 more than in the previous update.

In 2023, Canada issued 49,948 ITAs through thirteen Express Entry draws.

BC invited 145 skilled candidates and tech workers through the BCPNP

On May 23, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 103 invitations with a minimum score of 90 points. In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 20 candidates who scored 60 points.

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 17 invitations too. Additionally, fewer than five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).

The province invited up to 145 candidates with a score of 60-90 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 4,397 invitations.

The OINP issued nearly 1,700 invitations under the Skilled Trades Stream

On May 18, 2023, Ontario invited 1,694 candidates under the Skilled Trades Stream of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP).

The CRS score range of the invited candidates was between 250-489 points. Candidates, who created their profiles in the Express Entry system between May 18, 2022, to May 18, 2023, were considered by OINP in this draw for 46 NOCs.

Candidates who received a notification of interest do not need to contact the program and can apply to the stream.

This year, the province has already invited 4,668 candidates under this stream and issued 18,781 invitations under all OINP`s streams.

Saskatchewan invited over 1,000 candidates under the SINP streams

On May 18, 2023, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 784 ITAs. Another 260 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.

The lowest score in both categories was 67, one point fewer than in the previous draws. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited 1,032 candidates under 31 different NOCs. In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 4,198 skilled immigrants and entrepreneurs in eight draws under the SINP. #Saskatchewan, #SINP, #Express_Entry, #Occupations_in_demand, #PNP
