On March 2, 2023, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams and invited 46 candidates under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
The PEIPNP issued a total of 1,854 invitations in 2022.
This year, PEI invited 497 candidates, including 484 under the Labour Impact and Express Entry categories and 13 business candidates.
The province admits the most immigrants per capita of any province in Canada.
According to the schedule, the next PEI PNP draw will occur on March 16, 2023.

On March 2, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the second invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program 2023.
In this round, SINP invited 54 candidates, four businesspeople more than on January 5.
This round's highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score was 135 points.
The average score was 95 points. The lowest score was 80.
In 2023, Saskatchewan invited 525 candidates under all streams, including 104 entrepreneurs.

On March 1, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 667 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the third PNP-targeted draw of the year.
In round #242, the cut-off score was 748 points, 43 points fewer than in the previous PNP-targeted Express Entry draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was December 12, 2022, at 10:48:12 UTC.
As of March 1, 2023, there were 243,374 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 3,110 more than the previous update.

On February 28, 2023, British Columbia held new draws for business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). BC PNP invited seven candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream.
The lowest score of this round was 116 points, 1 point more than the previous draw.
In addition, the province invited fewer than five candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 112.
The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200. Candidates can get 120 points for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc.
Another 80 points are given for the business concept. British Columbia issued 2,031 invitations this year, including up to 20 entrepreneurs.
