New measures for foreign nationals with expired or expiring post-graduation work permits and applicants to the temporary resident to permanent resident pathways
4th, Nov 2022
On November 3, 2022, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador announced that the province will recruit internationally-educated registered nurses from India to fill vacancies.
In the next few weeks, a preliminary group of Provincial Government officials will head to southwestern India to establish a recruitment desk in Bengaluru, located in Karnataka.
Once there, they will be assisted by a representative from the College of Registered Nurses to oversee licensure.
The team will also work to increase awareness of Newfoundland and Labrador as an appealing immigration destination for nurses and nursing students through presentations and meetings.
