On September 1, 2021, the Liberal Party released a new election platform that addresses long-standing policy problems in the country as well as discusses future improvements in the immigration system.
The Party promised to
1.expand pathways to Permanent Residence for temporary foreign workers and former international students;
2.create the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot and welcome 2,000 skilled refugees to fill labour shortages in demanded sectors such as health care;
3.expand the new immigration stream for human rights defenders; increase the demographic weight of Francophones in the country and support Francophone immigration outside of Quebec,
4.and introduce electronic applications for family reunification.
Liberals also promise to make the Citizenship application process free for permanent residents who have fulfilled the requirements needed to obtain it. To note, the Party still has not waived the $630 citizenship fee, promised during the 2019 elections.

Hello everyone.
Well today Immigration Canada had its latest draw under Express Entry and was limited to PNP as it usually is on the Wednesday draw.
Today draw is the 17 express entry draw of the year under PNP and was limited to 635 persons getting a ITA(invitation to Apply).
The lowest score today was 764 which is not hard to get as a nomination from a Province automatically gives the applicant 600 points.
