On December 10, 2025, the Government of British Columbia held the third Skills Immigration invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and issued invitations to apply to 410 skilled candidates with the potential to create high economic impact in the province.
The selection criteria targeted two distinct groups: 96 candidates in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 positions earning a minimum wage of $87 per hour while working full-time with their supporting BC employer, and another 314 candidates who achieved a minimum score of 138 points.
This year, British Columbia has invited up to 1,088 candidates.

On December 10, 2025, the Government of Ontario conducted immigration draws in the Employer Job Offer:
Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW), International Student Stream (EJO IS), and In-Demand Skills Stream (EJO IDS) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). In these draws, the province targeted healthcare professionals, early childhood educators & assistants, and candidates eligible for Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI).
The OINP issued 427 invitations to apply (ITAs) under the EJO FW Stream, 692 ITAs under the EJO IS Stream, and 14 ITAs under the EJO IDS Stream. In total, the province issued invitations to 11,612 candidates in 2025.

On December 10, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.I
IRCC issued 6,000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates in the CEC-targeted draw. In round #384, the cut-off score was 520 points, 11 points fewer than it was in the previous CEC-targeted draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was July 15, 2025, at 17:30:33 UTC. As of December 7, 2025, 242,379 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool. So far in 2025, Canada has issued 101,599 invitations through Express Entry draws.

On December 9, 2025, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Francisation et Integration (MIFI) published the results of the 79th invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima, which were conducted on December 4, 2025.
MIFI invited 605 candidates under Stream 1(Highly qualified and specialized skills), 604 candidates under Stream 2 (Intermediate and manual skills), 649 candidates under Stream 3 (Regulated professions), and 12 candidates under Stream 4 (Exceptional talent). Last year, Quebec invited 24,144 candidates through the regular Arrima draws. In 2025, MIFI invited 2,910 candidates.
