On March 10, 2026, British Columbia held two draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
The BCPNP issued 7 invitations to candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, which is designed for experienced businessmen seeking to establish a new business or acquire an existing one in British Columbia.
The lowest score of this round was 117 points. In addition, the province invited up to five candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of just 129 points.
Last year, British Columbia invited up to 132 business candidates through the Entrepreneur draws. So far this year, the province has issued 926 invitations under the BCPNP, with up to 37 of them going to entrepreneurs.

On March 6, 2026, Newfoundland and Labrador held the first rounds of selection through the Enhanced Expression of Interest (EOI) system, issuing a total of 445 invitations.
Of these, 362 were sent to candidates under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP), while 83 went to applicants through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
Last year, Newfoundland and Labrador invited a total of 3,376 applicants under the NLPNP and AIP.

On March 6, 2026, New Brunswick published the results of its recent draws using an expression of interest system to streamline immigration applications for the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
From March 3 to March 6, 2026, the province conducted four new draws and issued a total of 622 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to qualified candidates.
The new draws were conducted under the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream – Employment in New Brunswick (29 ITAs), NB Skilled Worker – NB Graduates Stream and New Brunswick Experience Pathway (279 ITAs), NB Strategic Initiative – Francophone Workers in New Brunswick and New Brunswick Francophone Priorities (189 invitations), and Atlantic Immigration Program (125 invitations). In total, the province invited 1,523 candidates in 2026.

Over the last two weeks, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws under the International Experience Canada (IEC).
From February 21 to March 6, Canada invited 8,676 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of March 6, 28,404 candidates have registered in the pool and are awaiting the invitation.
In these rounds, there were 645 ITAs for Australia, 20 ITAs for Austria, 70 ITAs for Belgium, 68 ITAs for Chile, 23 ITAs for Costa Rica, 7 ITAs for Croatia, 64 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 25 ITAs for Denmark, 10 ITAs for Estonia, 15 ITAs for Finland, 727 ITAs for France, 391 ITAs for Germany, 23 ITAs for Greece, 15 ITAs for Hong Kong, 487 ITAs for Ireland, 232 ITAs for Italy, 2,438 ITAs for Japan, 733 ITAs for Korea, 8 ITAs for Latvia, 22 ITAs for Lithuania, 1 ITA for Luxembourg, 38 ITAs for the Netherlands, 874 ITAs for New Zealand, 15 ITAs for Norway, 62 ITAs for Poland, 38 ITAs for Portugal, 1 ITA for San Marino, 31 ITAs for Slovakia, 2 ITAs for Slovenia, 146 ITAs for Spain, 33 ITAs for Sweden, 16 ITAs for Switzerland, 134 ITAs for Taiwan, and 1,262 ITAs for the United Kingdom.
In total, Canada invited 46,652 IEC candidates in 2026.
