The government of Canada updated the terminology for Quebec-related instructions

On May 6, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new round of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). SINP issued 259 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 136 ITAs. Another 123 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 70 points, the same as in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 63 different NOCs. Ontario held a new draw for French-Speaking Skilled Workers

On May 4, 2021, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new draw in the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW). In this round, the province issued 102 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The Express Entry score range of invited candidates in this intake was between 458 and 467 points. The Express Entry profiles of those candidates were created between May 4, 2020 and May 4, 2021. OINP already invited 374 Francophone candidates to apply for the nomination of Ontario this year. BCPNP invited 84 high-tech specialists in the Tech Pilot

On May 4, 2021, British Columbia conducted a new draw for candidates in the Tech Pilot of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In this round, the province invited 84 high-tech specialists to apply for the provincial nomination in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate. All candidates scored 80 points or higher. In 2021, British Columbia invited 766 Tech Pilot candidates this year. Canada issued 892 ITAs under the International Experience Canada

Over the last week, the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new invitation rounds in the pools of the International Experience Canada (IEC) program. From April 19 to April 23, IRCC issued 892 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for an IEC open work permit. As of April 30, there are 15,408 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 20 ITAs for Australia, 8 ITAs for Belgium, 110 ITAs for Chile, 18 ITAs for Costa Rica, 1 ITA for Croatia, 49 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 6 ITAs for Denmark, 239 ITAs for France, 4 ITAs for Greece, 9 ITAs for Hong Kong, 131 ITAs for Ireland, 7 ITAs for Italy, 14 ITAs for Japan, 55 ITAs for South Korea, 17 ITAs for the Netherlands, 6 ITAs for New Zealand, 1 ITA for Norway, 7 ITAs for Portugal, 28 ITAs for Slovakia, 30 ITAs for Spain, 2 ITAs for Sweden, 7 ITAs for Switzerland, 17 ITAs for Taiwan, and 106 ITAs for the United Kingdom.
