Ontario invited 691 candidates in the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduate streams

On September 14, 2021, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued invitations to apply (ITAs) for the Master's Graduate and Ph.D. Graduate streams. The province issued 627 ITAs to the eligible candidates under the Master's Graduate Stream. The minimum score of this round was 35 points, 2 points fewer than in the previous draw. Ontario also invited 64 candidates under the Ph.D. Graduate Stream. The minimum score for this draw was 16, 1 point fewer than in the previous program-specific draw. In 2020, the province has not invited any candidates under these two streams. In 2019, OINP invited only 1,000 candidates of the Master's Graduate Stream. Canada invited 2,000 candidates in CEC-specific Express Entry draw

On September 14, 2021, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw. In program-specific draw #204.

Canada issued 2,000 Invitations to Apply for permanent residence in Canada in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program.

The lowest score was 462 points, 59 points more than in the previous CEC draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was September 11, 2021 at 10:55:43 UTC.

In 2021, Canada already issued 108,414 invitations to apply in 34 draws of Express Entry.

Manitoba nominated 516 candidates in August 2021

On September 9, 2021, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) published new nomination issuance statistics.

In August 2021, the province nominated 516 skilled workers. In August, there were no approved business concepts, however, the province refused one application of skilled workers and a business concept.

MPNP invited 275 skilled workers, 3 business concepts and sent LAAs to 7 business candidates.

This month, Manitoba received 1,142 applications from skilled workers and 2 applications from business candidates. Currently, the province is assessing 416 applications, and the other 949 applications are pending assessment.

Additionally, Manitoba nominated 203 Express Entry candidates. Last year, MPNP nominated 5,656 foreign nationals, including 605 nominees from Express Entry.

Quebec invited 517 candidates in the new Arrima draw

On September 8, 2021, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the 22nd invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima.

On September 2, 2021, MIFI invited 517 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

Candidates, invited in this round, can submit an application for permanent selection in order to obtain a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) within a period of 6 months.

In total, Quebec invited 2,664 persons through the Arrima in 2021. Since the launch of Arrima in July 2019, the government of Quebec invited 5,354 foreign nationals in 22 draws to apply for immigration to Quebec.
