On August 19, 2021, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw. In program-specific draw #202, Canada issued 3,000 Invitations to Apply for permanent residence in Canada in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program. The lowest score was 403 points, 1 point less than in the previous program-specific draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was August 1, 2021 at 13:25:22 UTC. Quebec invited 515 persons in the sixth round of Arrima in 2021

On August 19, 2021, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the second invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima conducted in 2021. On August 12, 2021, MIFI invited 515 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Candidates, invited in this round, can submit an application for permanent selection in order to obtain a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) within a period of 6 months. Saskatchewan issued 496 ITAs in the new round of SINP

On August 19, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new round of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). This time, SINP issued 496 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 161 ITAs. The lowest score in this category was 71, 2 points fewer than in the last round. Another 335 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score for this category was 70 points – 3 points less than in the last round. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 61 different NOCs for the Occupations In-Demand category, 43 NOCs for the Express Entry category. Thunder Bay held a new round of recommendations in the RNIP

On August 18, 2021, Thunder Bay, ON, issued new community recommendations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). The city approved applications of 17 candidates –14 candidates in the NOC B skills level, 3 candidates in the NOC C skills level and 3 candidates in the NOC D skills level. Candidates who received a community recommendation can submit their applications for permanent residence in Canada to Immigration Canada (IRCC).
