British Columbia invited 358 candidates under the BCPNP

On October 27, 2021, British Columbia conducted two draws in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the general draw, the province issued 306 invitations. • Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 91

• Skills Immigration - International Graduate 78 • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 68 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 91 (+4 points) • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 78 (+2 points)

The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers.

BCPNP invited 52 such candidates.

Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System.

The lowest score of those candidates was 104 points, the same as it was in the previous draw for these NOCs.

In total, British Columbia issued 10,061 ITAs under the BCPNP in 2021.

OINP invited 1,408 candidates in the Human Capital Priorities Stream

On October 27, 2021, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new round of invitations in Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.

In this draw, OINP issued 1,408 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who possess work experience in one of the in-demand occupations.

The CRS Express Entry score range of those candidates was 455-467 points. All invited candidates work in one of the following occupations:

• NOC 0213 Computer and information systems managers • NOC 2147 Computer engineers • NOC 2172 Database analysts and data administrators • NOC 2173 Software engineers and designers • NOC 2174 Computer programmer and interactive media developers • NOC 2175 Web designers and developers In total, Ontario invited 14,551 candidates through the OINP in 2021.

IRCC held the PNP-targeted Express Entry draw #208

On October 27, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 888 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the new PNP-targeted draw.

In round #208, the cut-off score was 744 points, 24 points more compared to the previous PNP draw.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was October 7, 2021 at 13:32:26 UTC.

As of October 25, 2021, there are 185,774 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 2,641 more compared to the previous update. In total, in 2021, Canada issued 111,265 ITAs through Express Entry.

Alberta invited 293 candidates and updated the AINP inventory

On October 26, 2021, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Currently, there are around 450 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 700 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

In addition, on October 12, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 293 Notifications of Interest (NOI).

The lowest score in this round was 300 points, the same as it was in the previous draw. In 2021, AINP already invited 5,910 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry.
