British Columbia held a new invitation round in the SI and EEBC of the BCPNP

On January 11, 2021, British Columbia held two rounds in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the general draw, BC issued 201 invitations. The lowest scores in the categories were:

• Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 103 (+3 points) • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 90 (+2 points) • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 78 (+4 points) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 110 (+4 points) • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 92

The second draw of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers.

The province issued 31 invitations for such candidates. The lowest score of those candidates was 110 points, 4 points more compared to the previous NOC-specific draw. In total, British Columbia issued 334 ITAs under the BCPNP in 2022.

Nova Scotia held a new draw in the International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream

On January 10, 2022, the Government of Nova Scotia published the results of the new draw in the International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP).

In the new which was held on December 22, 2021, the province invited 2 international graduate entrepreneurs,

and the lowest score was 53 points, four points fewer than in the previous draw.

In 2021, Nova Scotia has already invited 6 international graduate entrepreneurs in three invitation rounds. In total, this year, the province invited more than 97 candidates.

Saskatchewan invited 51 entrepreneurs in the first invitation round of the Entrepreneur Program for 2022

On January 9, 2022, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the first invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program in 2022.

In this round, SINP invited 51 candidates.

The highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score for this round was 140 points.

The average score was 105bpoints.

The lowest score was 90, and those applicants were invited to apply only if they scored CLB level of 4 or higher in English or French. In 2021, in total, Saskatchewan invited 134 entrepreneurs.

British Columbia invited 102 candidates through the BCPNP Tech

On January 4, 2022, British Columbia held a new draw in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Tech Program (BC PNP Tech).

In this draw, the province invited 102 candidates in four categories:

Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate.

The lowest score in all categories was 80 points, the same as it was in the previous draw. In 2021, BC issued 11,400 ITAs to apply for a provincial nomination under all programs, including 1,905 candidates in the BCPNP.
