Ontario invited 162 French-Speaking Skilled Workers

On October 7, 2021, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new draw in the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW).

In this round, the province issued 162 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The Express Entry score range of invited candidates in this intake was between 459 and 467 points.

The Express Entry profiles of those candidates were created between October 7, 2020 and October 7, 2021. OINP already invited 651 Francophone candidates to apply for the nomination of Ontario this year.

The lowest score in the BCPNP Tech has dropped by ten points

On October 5, 2021, British Columbia held a new round in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Tech Program (BC PNP Tech).

In this draw, BC issued 108 invitations to qualifying candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate.

The lowest score in all categories has dropped by 10 points and was only 70 points. In 2021, British Columbia invited 1,496 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the BCPNP Tech.

In total, BCPNP issued 9,195 ITAs to date.

Quebec invited 536 healthcare workers and teachers in the new Arrima draw

On September 30, 2021, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the 23rd invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima.

On September 30, 2021, MIFI invited 536 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

In this round, the province invited healthcare workers (NOC 0312, NOC 3233, NOC 3413) and candidates working in the education sector (NOC 4031, NOC 4032, NOC 4214).

Applicants had a score of at least 562 points, as well as a valid job offer outside the territory of the Montreal Metropolitan Community.

In total, Quebec invited 3,200 persons through the Arrima in 2021. Since the launch of Arrima in July 2019, the government of Quebec invited 5,890 foreign nationals in 23 draws to apply for immigration to Quebec.

British Columbia invited 422 candidates under the BCPNP

On September 28, 2021, British Columbia conducted two draws in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the general draw, the province issued 386 invitations.

• Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 90 • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 77 • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 69 • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 86 • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 75

The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers.

BCPNP invited 36 such candidates.

Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System.

The lowest score of those candidates was 105 points, the same as it was in the previous draw for these NOCs.

In total, British Columbia issued 9,087 ITAs under the BCPNP in 2021.
