On January 20, 2022, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).
In the first round of the year, the province issued 121 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams.
PEI also invited 11 candidates to the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream.
The lowest score for business candidates was 72 points, 5 points more than it was in the November draw.
In 2021, Prince Edward Island issued 1,854 invitations, including 157 invitations to business candidates.
The next PEI PNP draw is scheduled for February 17, 2022.

Well this is the biggest Express entry PNP draw in history. Today Immigration Canada did draw number 214
and the results were surprising.
PNP draw of 1036 Invitations to Apply with a score no lower then 745 was drawn and issued to prospective Candidates

On January 18, 2022, British Columbia held a new draw in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Tech Program (BC PNP Tech).
In this draw, the province invited 91 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate.
The lowest score in all categories was 80 points, the same as it was in the previous draw. In 2022, in total, British Columbia invited 425 candidates, including 193 applicants under the BCPNP Tech.

On January 18, 2022, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).
There were around 450 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 775 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.
In addition, on January 5, 2022, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 250 Notifications of Interest (NOI).
The lowest score in this round was 327 points, 24 points less than it was in the previous draw.
Last year, AINP invited 6,608 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry.
