Saskatchewan still accepts international graduates under the SINP

On October 13, 2021, Saskatchewan updated the number of spots remaining through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for international graduates in the framework of the temporary immigration policy. The provincial government has allocated 1,000 spots for direct submission of a nomination application for those who resided in the province on September 1, 2020, and has completed an academic program in the province. Since the last week, the province has accepted 19 applications, and 441 spots remain available. SINP updates this data every Monday. Manitoba conducted MPNP draw #127

On October 7, 2021, Manitoba conducted a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #127, MPNP issued 350 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 446 points, 45 points more compared to draw #126.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 21 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 729 points, 11 points more than in the previous round. Manitoba also invited 55 candidates in the International Education Category.

In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 426 candidates, including 84 Express Entry candidates. MPNP has invited 8,467 candidates in 2021 and 3,626 of them in the Express Entry.

Alberta issued 275 invitations and updated the AINP inventory

On October 12, 2021, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Currently, there are around 600 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 600 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

In addition, on September 30, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 275 Notifications of Interest (NOI).

The lowest score in this round was 300 points, the same as it was in the previous draw.

In 2021, AINP already invited 5,617 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry. For 2021, IRCC provided 6,250 nomination certificates to Alberta.

OINP invited 486 candidates in the Human Capital Priorities Stream

On October 6, 2021, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new round of invitations in Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.

In this draw, OINP issued 486 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who possess work experience in one of the in-demand occupations.

The CRS Express Entry score range of those candidates was 463-467 points. All invited candidates work in one of the eighteen following occupations: • NOC 0114 – Other administrative services managers • NOC 0122 – Banking, credit and other investment managers • NOC 0124 – Advertising, marketing and public relations managers • NOC 0125 – Other business services managers • NOC 0211 – Engineering managers • NOC 0311 – Managers in health care • NOC 0601 – Corporate sales managers • NOC 0631 – Restaurant and food service managers • NOC 0711 – Construction managers • NOC 0731 – Managers in transportation • NOC 0911 – Manufacturing managers • NOC 1121 – Human resources professionals • NOC 1122 – Professional occupations in business management consulting • NOC 2161 – Mathematicians, statisticians and actuaries • NOC 3012 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses • NOC 3211 – Medical laboratory technologists • NOC 3231 – Opticians • NOC 3233 – Licensed practical nurses In total, Ontario invited 12,601 candidates through the OINP in 2021. Last year, Ontario invited 16,976 candidates, and among them, 6,716 received invitations under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
