On February 17, 2022, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).
There were around 350 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 775 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. In addition, on February 1, 2022, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 400 Notifications of Interest (NOI).
The lowest score in this round was 340 points, 6 points fewer than it was in the previous draw.
Last year, AINP invited 6,608 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry. In 2022, Alberta has already invited 1000 candidates.

On February 16, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 1,082 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the new PNP-targeted draw.
In round #216, the cut-off score was 710 points, 36 points more compared to the previous PNP draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was October 7, 2021 at 11:36:55 UTC. As of February 15, 2022, there are 198,061 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 401 more compared to the previous update.
In 2022, Canada issued 3,580 ITAs through Express Entry.

On February 15, 2022, British Columbia held a new draw in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Tech Program (BC PNP Tech).
In this draw, the province invited 140 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate.
The lowest score in all categories was 85 points, 5 points more than in the previous draw. In 2022, in total, British Columbia invited 1,186 candidates, including 459 applicants under the BCPNP Tech.

On February 10, 2022, Ontario has updated the average processing time in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
As of now, the processing time in Ontario’s Master Graduates and Ph.D. Graduates Streams and Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream was 30-60 days.
The processing time for Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream, Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream, Employer Job
Offer: Foreign Worker, and Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream was 60-90 days.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) Assessment in the Entrepreneur Stream still requires less than 30 days, while the application processing depends on the complexity of the business nomination application.
The province has not still received its 2022 allocation from IRCC. As of February 10, 2022,
