OINP issued 398 invitations through the Masters Graduate Stream

On March 30, 2022, the Government of Ontario held a new draw in the Masters Graduate Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

The province has issued 398 invitations to apply (ITAs) under this stream, with a minimum score of 39 points, 2 points fewer than it was in the previous draw held on March 1, 2022.

In 2022, Ontario has already invited 636 candidates under this stream. In total, the OINP invited 8,397 candidates under all streams in 2022.

IRCC issued 919 invitations in the new PNP-targeted Express Entry draw

On March 30, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 919 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the new PNP-targeted draw.

In round #219, the cut-off score was 785 points, 31 points more compared to the previous PNP draw.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was November 15, 2022 at 20:23:16 UTC.

As of March 28, 2022, there are 197,881 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 1,189 more compared to the previous update. In 2022, Canada has issued 6,470 ITAs through Express Entry.

British Columbia invited new candidates in the BCPNP draws

On March 29, 2022, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 161 invitations, with a minimum score of 87.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214), the province invited 37 candidates.

In the Healthcare-targeted draw for entry-level and semi-skilled workers, BC invited 12 candidates. In addition, the province issued less than 5 invitations in other priority occupations (NOC 3114 & 3213).

The lowest score of those candidates was 75 points. In total, British Columbia invited 2,272 candidates in 2022.

AAIP invited 350 candidates and updated the AAIP inventory

On March 29, 2022, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

There were around 600 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 700 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

In addition, on March 22, 2022, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 350 Notifications of Interest (NOI).

The lowest score in this round was 325 points, 7 points more than it was in the previous draw. In 2022, Alberta has already invited 1,700 candidates.
