Express Entry draw

August 3, 2022 Immigration Canada has made it's latest express entry draw number 228. Today's draw seen ITA (invitation to apply) given to 2000 Candidates with a average score no less the 533 points. This is the 3rd draw since Immigration Canada has reactivate the Express Entry draw.

This gives 2000 applicants the chance of becoming Permanent Resident in Canada.

Manitoba invited 354 candidates in draw #152

On July 28, 2022, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #152, MPNP issued 299 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 633 points, 66 points fewer compared to the previous draw.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 15 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 726 points, 11 points more than in the previous round.

In addition, Manitoba invited 41 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 354 candidates, including 56 Express Entry candidates.

MPNP has invited 3,821 candidates in 2022, and 704 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

Sudbury issued new invitations under the RNIP

On July 28, 2022, the City of Greater Sudbury published the results of the new draws conducted under the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).

According to the update, on July 15, 2022, Sudbury invited 1 candidate with a minimum score of 350. In addition, on July 27, 2022, the city held 2 draws. In the first draw, Sudbury invited 1 candidate with a score of 330.

In the second draw, the city invited 7 applicants who had a score of 245 and above. In total, the community invited 80 candidates since the start of the RNIP in Sudbury.

BC invited more than 180 skilled immigrants

On July 26, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.

In the general draw, the province invited 147 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was between 78-136 points.

In addition, British Columbia invited 22 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 9 candidates.

Additionally, less than 5 invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213). In total, the province invited up to 183 candidates. In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 5,100 invitations.
