Quebec invited 351 candidates in the 8th Arrima draw of 2022

On July 18, 2022, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the 34th invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima.

On July 7, 2022, MIFI invited 351 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Candidates invited in this round had a valid job offer outside the territory of the Montreal Metropolitan Community.

In 2022, MIFI issued 2,583 invitations. Since the launch of Arrima in July 2019, the government of Quebec invited 8,855 foreign nationals in 34 draws to apply for immigration to Quebec.

Manitoba issued 11 invitations to Ukrainian candidates

On July 18, 2022, the Government of Manitoba held the sixth draw for Ukrainian candidates. In this draw, the province invited 11 candidates through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

To be eligible, applicants must be a Ukrainian citizen, have a minimum of CLB 4 in each language band, have connections to the province (close relative, family-like, community, previous

employment or studies in Manitoba), and score at least 60 points, and possess a valid language test in one of the official languages. In total, the province invited 145 Ukrainian nationals. In 2022,

MPNP issued invitations to 3,466 applicants, including 648 Express Entry candidates.

Saskatchewan invited 627 candidates under the SINP

On July 14, 2022, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 430 ITAs. Another 195 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.

The lowest score in both categories was 69 points, 4 points fewer than in the previous draw. In addition, the SINP also invited 2 Ukrainian candidates with a minimum score of 66.

All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates under 19 different NOCs. This year, Saskatchewan has already invited 1,959 candidates.

British Columbia invited new Skilled Immigration candidates

On July 12, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.

In the general draw, the province invited 132 candidates.

The minimal score for candidates invited in this draw was between 78-130 points.

In addition, British Columbia invited 22 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 10 candidates.

Additionally, less than 5 invitations have been issued for healthcare assistants (NOC 3413) and other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213). In total, the province invited up to 174 candidates.

In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 4,747 invitations.
