British Columbia invited up to 235 candidates in the new BCPNP draw

On March 14, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 197 invitations with a minimum score of 83 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 23 candidates who scored 60 points. In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued ten invitations.

Additionally, fewer than five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).

New Brunswick invited new candidates via Express Entry The provincial Government of New Brunswick issued 93 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) via two Express Entry streams. Seven ITAs have been issued under the New Brunswick Employment Connection (EC) program, while 86 ITAs have been issued through the Express Entry Occupations In-Demand Connection (OIDC) program. In addition, the province granted 51 Post-Graduate Work Permits (PGWP) for international students who graduated from the province’s Designated Learning Institutions (DLI). Applying for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) through the NB Student Connection program is simple, as applicants do not need a job offer but must complete their studies within the last six months, live in New Brunswick, and actively look for work. #New_Brunswick, #ITA, #NBPNP, #PGWP, #international_students, #PR, #Express_Entry, #DLI, #OIDC

Manitoba issued new invitations under the MPNP streams

On March 9, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #171, the MPNP held a new occupation-specific candidate selection (sales and service support occupations) under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream and invited 224 applicants who scored 612 points and more.

Manitoba also issued 277 LAAs in the regular SWM draw. The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 675 points, 18 points fewer than the previous draw.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 43 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

The lowest score in the SWO category was 666 points, 55 points fewer than in the previous draw. In addition, 53 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream.

Manitoba has issued LAAs to 597 candidates, including 45 Express Entry candidates for this round. In 2023, MPNP invited 2,180 candidates, and 277 of them received invitations in the Express Entry. #Manitoba, #MPNP, #International_students, #PNP, #SWO, #SWM

Ontario invited tech candidates under the Human Capital Priorities Stream

On March 10, 2023, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new invitation draw under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

In the tech draw, the OINP issued 815 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with work experience in one of the in-demand tech occupations.

Those candidates' CRS Express Entry score was between 479-489 points. The OINP invited candidates under nine national occupational codes (NOC) in this draw.

In 2023, Ontario issued 8,411 invitations under all streams of OINP, including 3,539 candidates under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
