Ontario issued 28 invitations under the Entrepreneur Stream

On August 16, 2022, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) released the results of the new draw under the Entrepreneur Stream.

In this draw, the province invited 28 business candidates. The minimum score of this round was 138, eight points fewer compared to the July 15 draw.

The OINP noted that those whose Expressions of Interest were scored by August 8, 2022, were eligible for this draw.

This year, the Government of Ontario invited 82 business candidates to apply for the provincial nomination.

British Columbia invited skilled candidates under the BCPNP

On August 16, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified skilled candidates,

including Tech workers.

In the General draw, BC issued 177 invitations, with a minimum score of 78 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214), the province invited 26 candidates.

Additionally, 15 invitations have been issued for healthcare workers and 5 invitations for healthcare assistants (NOC 3413).

Also, less than five applications have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213). In total, the province invited up to 228 regional candidates. In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 5,677 invitations.

British Columbia held a targeted draw and invited skilled regional candidates

On August 10, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified regional candidates,

including Tech workers.

In the General draw, BC issued 155 invitations, with a minimum score of 76 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214), the province invited 5 candidates.

Additionally, less than 5 invitations have been issued for healthcare workers and assistants (NOC 3413) and other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213).

In total, the province invited up to 175 regional candidates. In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 5,449 invitations.

Saskatchewan invited 745 candidates under the SINP

On August 11, 2022, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 433 ITAs. Another 312 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.

The lowest score in both categories was 68 points, the same as it was in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates under 20 different NOCs. This year, Saskatchewan has already invited 4,254 candidates.
