On August 10, 2026, Newfoundland and Labrador held the tenth round of selection through the Enhanced Expression of Interest (EOI) system, issuing a total of 208 invitations.
Of these, 186 were sent to candidates under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP), while 22 went to applicants through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
Last year, Newfoundland and Labrador invited a total of 3,376 applicants under the NLPNP and AIP. So far, the province has invited 2,197 candidates in 2026.

On August 5, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted Express Entry draw #432, inviting 3,000 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates to apply for permanent residence.
This was the second draw of the week, following the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) round, and the 13th CEC-specific draw of 2026, bringing the total number of ITAs issued through CEC draws this year to 48,250. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score remained at 516, unchanged from the previous CEC draw, while the tie-breaking rule was applied to profiles submitted before July 3, 2026, at 21:35:13 UTC.
The Government of Canada has now issued 108,123 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across 44 Express Entry draws held in 2026.
