On March 12, 2024, the Government of Ontario issued invitations to candidates through four draws under the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP).
Three separate invitation rounds were conducted under the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream, resulting in 2,639 invitations for permanent residency.
In the first draw, 1,306 invitations were extended to eligible candidates.
Invitations were sent to profiles with a score of 72 or higher in the OINP Expression of Interest (EOI) system. A focused EOI draw for 63 skilled trade occupations under the International Student Stream resulted in 649 invitations being sent to profiles scoring 66 and higher.
Another targeted EOI draw for 41 healthcare and 15 tech occupations saw 684 invitations issued to profiles with a score of 72 and higher. Additionally, the province conducted a targeted draw for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the OINP’s Foreign Worker stream, inviting 11 candidates.
To date, Ontario has issued invitations to a total of 21,997 candidates across all streams in 2024.

On March 7, 2024, Saskatchewan held its most recent invitation rounds within the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), extending invitations to 35 skilled candidates.
Notably, 21 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued in the Express Entry category. At the same time, another 14 were granted to candidates in the Occupations In-Demand category, all achieving a minimum score of 89 points.
All selected candidates possessed Educational Credential Assessments and are now eligible to apply for provincial nomination.
The SINP draws strategically targeted specific National Occupational Classification (NOC) occupation codes in alignment with the Expression of Interest (EOI) selection process.
In 2024, Saskatchewan welcomed 48 skilled immigrants and entrepreneurs through its invitation processes.

On March 8, 2024, Manitoba conducted its latest draw, #212, within the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw focused on the Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) stream, extending 104 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates, including 20 to Express Entry candidates.
Notably, the minimum required score dropped to 614 points, marking a significant decrease of 99 points from the previous SWO draw. In this draw, the province invited candidates with a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
In 2024, the MPNP invited 1,356 candidates, with 148 receiving invitations through the Express Entry stream.
