Manitoba held a new skilled worker stream draw under the MPNP

On November 21, 2025, Manitoba held the invitation round #258 under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

The province invited 35 skilled workers under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams as part of a strategic recruitment initiative.

In this round, five invitations were extended to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile number and a job seeker validation code.

This year, the MPNP invited 7,097 candidates, and 1,282 of them received invitations in the Express Entry system.

The AAIP invited over a thousand candidates in the first half of November

On November 20, 2025, Alberta released the results of the recent Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) immigration draws.

On November 10, the province invited 1,045 candidates under the Alberta Opportunity stream. The cut-off score for this draw was 55 points, 5 points lower than the previous draw for this stream.

Additionally, on November 14, Alberta conducted a new draw under the Alberta Express Entry Stream - Priority Sectors and invited 80 healthcare candidates who scored 52 points or more.

So far, Alberta has invited 8,505 candidates through the AAIP streams this year.

British Columbia held two entrepreneur draws under the BCPNP

On November 18, 2025, British Columbia held two draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). The BCPNP issued 19 invitations to candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, which is designed for experienced businesspeople who wish to start a new business or acquire an existing business in British Columbia.

The lowest score of this round was 121 points. In addition, the province invited up to five candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 115.

Last year, British Columbia invited up to 80 business candidates through the Entrepreneur draws. So far this year, the province has issued 678 invitations under the BCPNP, with up to 110 of them going to entrepreneurs.

Ottawa invited 3,500 healthcare workers in the new Express Entry draw

On November 14, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the sixth occupation-specific Express Entry draw of the year for candidates working in healthcare and social services occupations.

In round #379, IRCC issued 3,500 Invitations to Apply (ITA), and the cut-off score was 462 points (ten points fewer than the last draw for this category).

The tie-breaking rule for this round was December 02, 2024, at 22:19:41 UTC. This year, Canada issued 86,699 ITAs across 49 Express Entry draws, and 13,500 of them were for healthcare and social services professionals.
