On May 16, 2024, the City of Greater Sudbury held a new round of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).
In this round, Sudbury considered 34 candidates – 19 through the Conventional Stream and 15 through the Limited Stream.
The lowest score of these draws was 100 and 170 points, respectively. All applicants had one eligible occupation and a wage over $20 per hour.
This year, Sudbury invited a total of 450 applicants. So far, the city has recommended around 840 individuals under the RNIP since the program's launch.

On May 22, 2024, the Government of British Columbia conducted new invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
These draws are a part of the province's effort to attract skilled professionals in various sectors. The program issued invitations to apply to qualified candidates in tech, healthcare, childcare, construction, and veterinary care occupations. In the tech draw, the province invited 50 candidates.
The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 122 points. BC issued five ITAs to candidates who scored 93 points under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).
In the Healthcare-targeted draw, British Columbia invited ten candidates who scored 100 points. The province also issued nine invitations to candidates working in the construction sector.
Furthermore, up to five invitations have been issued to candidates working in veterinary care occupations.
British Columbia issued up to 79 ITAs in this draw. This year, the province has already invited up to 3,176 candidates.

On May 9, 2024, Manitoba held a new invitation round #218 in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
In the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 242 candidates with a minimum score of 836. Additionally, the MPNP invited 18 candidates through the Occupation-specific selection under the SWM stream.
In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 35 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in the SWO category was 698 points.
Finally, 76 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. In this round, Manitoba has issued LAAs to 371 candidates, including 66 Express Entry candidates.
In 2024, MPNP invited 3,988 candidates, and 544 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
