todays Express Entry draw #187 again focused around the CEC programs. It came in at 4147 ITA's with the lowest ranking score being 401. Again since January 2021 Immigration Canada continues to focus all draws within Canada. With Canadian's getting their vaccine shots at a very strong rate and Canada expecting to reach over 70% of the population by late June, hopefully they will return to draws for overseas skilled workers.

AINP invited 250 candidates in Alberta Express Entry Stream

On May 11, 2021, Alberta released a new update about the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) inventory. Alberta received 1,900 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream and 350 Expressions of Interest (EOI) in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. These applications are waiting for the eligibility assessment. In addition, on May 5, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 250 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The lowest score in this round was 300 points. In 2021, AINP already invited 1,659 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry. BCPNP issued 379 invitation in the new round

On May 11, 2021, British Columbia conducted two draws in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the general draw, the province issued 331 invitations. The lowest scores slightly changed in some categories: • Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 94 • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 92 (-3 point) • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 77 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 94 • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 92 (-3 point) The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers. BCPNP invited 48 such candidates. Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System. The lowest score of these two NOC’s candidates was 112 points one point fewer compared to the previous draw for these NOCs.
