BCPNP invited 20 candidates in the business immigration streams

On April 13, 2021, British Columbia held new draws to business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, BC PNP invited 6 candidates with the lowest score of 126 points, four points more than in the February 2 draw. In the Entrepreneur Regional Pilot, the province invited 5 candidates with the lowest score of 116 points, seven points higher than in the previous draw. In 2021, British Columbia already invited 19 entrepreneurs. British Columbia invited 441 skilled workers

British Columbia invited 441 skilled workers On April 13, 2021, British Columbia held invitation rounds in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the general draw, BCPNP issued 420 invitations. The lowest scores slightly changed in all categories: • Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 95 (-1 point) • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 95 (+1 point) • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 79 (-2 points) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 95 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 95 (+1 point) The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers. BCPNP invited 21 such candidates. Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System. The lowest score of those candidates did not change and was 113 points. Sudbury considered 12 applications in the Rural and Northern Pilot

On April 12, 2021, the City of Greater Sudbury held the first round of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In this round, Sudbury considered 12 candidates and the lowest score of this draw was 280 points, 45 points fewer than in the September 22 draw. The last applicant in this draw was considered on March 23, 2021. The immigration authorities of Sudbury announced that Cooks (NOC 6322) and Kitchen Helpers (NOC 6711) are now excluded from the list of eligible occupations. Sudbury also explained that candidates who applied after September 2020 but never got an invitation, may be drawn in the next rounds. Alberta issued 200 NOIs in Alberta Express Entry

On April 13, 2021, Alberta posted a new update about the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) inventory. Alberta received 2,175 applications in the Alberta Opportunity Stream and 200 Expressions of Interest (EOI) in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. These applications are waiting for the eligibility assessment. In addition, on April 6, 2021, Alberta conducted a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and invited 200 candidates to apply for a nomination of the province. The lowest score to get a Notification of Interest (NOI) in this round increased by one point to 302 points. In 2021, AINP already invited 1,209 Express Entry candidates in the Alberta Express Entry.
