Canada invited 463 provincial nominees in the Express Entry draw #201

On August 18, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw. Draw #201 targeted candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program. IRCC invited 463 provincial candidates, and the cut-off score in this round was 751 points, 9 points less compared to the previous PNP-specific draw that occurred on August 4. The tie-breaking rule for this round was April 13, 2021, at 16:29:29 UTC. As of August 16, 2021, there are 170,836 profiles registered in the pool, 1,331 more compared to the previous update. British Columbia Issued new invitations

On August 17, 2021, British Columbia conducted two draws in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). In the general draw, the province issued 363 invitations. • Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 91 • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 78 (-1 point) • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 73 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 88 (-1 point) • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 76 (-1 point) The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers. BCPNP invited 64 such candidates. Both NOCs have a high number of registrants within the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System. The lowest score of those candidates was 106 points, one point less compared to the previous draw for these NOCs. Alberta invited 396 candidates and updated the AINP inventory

On August 17, 2021, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Currently, there are around 1,200 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 225 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. In addition, on August 10, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 396 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The lowest score in this round was 300 points, the same as in the previous draw. Manitoba invited 275 candidates in MPNP draw #124

On August 12, 2021, Manitoba conducted a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #124, MPNP issued 238 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 454 points, 54 points more compared to draw #123. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 6 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 719 points, 11 points more than in the previous round. Manitoba also invited 31 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 275 candidates, including 36 Express Entry candidates.
