Prince Edward Island invited 204 candidates under the PEI PNP

On October 21, 2021, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). In the tenth round of the year, the province issued 195 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams.

PEI also invited 9 candidates to the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream.

The lowest score for business candidates was 72 points, the same as it was in the September draw. In total, Prince Edward Island issued 1,541 invitations in 2021, including 130 invitations to business candidates.

The next PEI PNP draw is scheduled for November 18, 2021.

MPNP issued 464 invitations to apply for the nomination of Manitoba

On October 21, 2021, Manitoba conducted a new draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #128, Manitoba invited 388 candidates in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

The lowest score of those who received a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) was 375, 71 points fewer compared to draw #127.

As for the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, the province invited 39 individuals, and the lowest score to get the LAA was 716, 13 points fewer than in the previous round.

In addition, MPNP invited 37 candidates in the International Education Category.

Of those 464 invited in this round, 94 candidates had valid Express Entry profiles.

In 2021, Manitoba already invited 8,931 individuals under the MPNP, including 3,720 Express Entry candidates.

Ontario issued 542 invitations through the Master’s Graduate and Ph.D. Graduate streams

On October 20, 2021, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued invitations to apply (ITAs) for the Master's Graduate and Ph.D. Graduate streams.

The province issued 479 ITAs to the eligible candidates under the Master's Graduate Stream. The minimum score of this round was 35 points, the same as it was in the previous draw.

Ontario also invited 63 candidates under the Ph.D. Graduate Stream.

The minimum score for this draw was 25, 9 points more than in the previous program-specific draw.

In 2020, the province has not invited any candidates under these two streams. In 2019, OINP invited only 1,000 candidates of the Master's Graduate Stream.

In total, Ontario invited 1,834 candidates under the Master's Graduate Stream, and 204 candidates under the Ph.D. Graduate Stream in 2021.

British Columbia invited 85 candidates under the BCPNP Tech

On October 19, 2021, British Columbia held a new draw in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Tech Program (BC PNP Tech).

In this draw, the province invited 85 candidates in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate.

The lowest score in all categories was 75 points, 5 points more than in the previous draw. In 2021, British Columbia invited 1,581 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the BCPNP Tech. In total, BCPNP issued 9,703 ITAs to date.
