Alberta invited 150 candidates and updated the AINP inventory

On January 4, 2022, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).

Currently, there are around 600 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 875 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

In addition, on December 14, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 150 Notifications of Interest (NOI).

The lowest score in this round was 351 points, 1 point more than it was in the previous draw.

In 2021, AINP already invited 6,608 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry.

Manitoba invited 393 candidates in draw #133

On December 30, 2021, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #133, MPNP issued 332 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 375 points, 72 points fewer compared to the previous draw.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 35 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 726 points, 14 points more than in the previous round.

In addition, Manitoba invited 26 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 393 candidates, including 73 Express Entry candidates.

MPNP has invited 10,990 candidates in 2021, and 4,071 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

Nova Scotia held a new draw in the Entrepreneur Stream

On December 29, 2021, the Government of Nova Scotia published the results of the new draw in the Entrepreneur Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP).

In the new draw of the Entrepreneur Stream which was held on December 22, 2021, the province invited 20 entrepreneurs and the lowest score was 119 points,

one point fewer than in the previous draw. In 2021, Nova Scotia has already invited 91 Entrepreneurs in three invitation rounds.

In total, this year, the province invited more than 95 candidates.

Quebec invited 326 candidates in the new Arrima draw

On December 20, 2021, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the 26th invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima. On December 9, 2021,

MIFI invited 326 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

Candidates invited in this round either had a validated offer of employment in the province and had a minimum score of 633.

In 2021, MIFI already issued 3,582 invitations. Last year, Quebec invited 628 persons through the Arrima. Since the launch of Arrima in July 2019,

the government of Quebec invited 6,272 foreign nationals in 25 draws to apply for immigration to Quebec.
