British Columbia invited new Skilled Immigration candidates

On July 12, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates.

In the general draw, the province invited 132 candidates.

The minimal score for candidates invited in this draw was between 78-130 points.

In addition, British Columbia invited 22 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 10 candidates.

Additionally, less than 5 invitations have been issued for healthcare assistants (NOC 3413) and other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213). In total, the province invited up to 174 candidates.

In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 4,747 invitations.

Manitoba invited 348 candidates in draw #149

On June 30, 2022, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #149, MPNP issued 186 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 773 points, 122 points more compared to the previous draw.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 83 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 711 points, 3 points less than in the previous round.

In addition, Manitoba invited 83 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 348 candidates, including 59 Express Entry candidates.

MPNP has invited 3,089 candidates in 2022, and 593 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

OINP issued 122 nominations and got its 2022 quota allocation

On July 11, 2022, the province of Ontario released a new update on the issuance of nomination certificates under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

The Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development issued nominations to 122 foreign nationals, since the last update on June 28.

In total, in 2022, Ontario issued nominations to 4,496 foreign nationals. Last year, the province nominated 8,600 candidates to apply for permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

On the same day, the Federal government released the annual quota allocation for Ontario under the Provincial Nominee Program. In 2022, Ontario can nominate 9,750 nominees.

Saskatchewan invited 64 entrepreneurs under the SINP

On July 7, 2022, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) conducted the fourth invitation round in the Entrepreneur Program in 2022.

In this round, SINP invited 64 candidates. The highest Expression of Interest (EOI) score for this round was 130 points.

The average score was 95 points. The lowest score was 80, and those applicants were invited to apply only if they scored a CLB level of 4 or higher in English or French.

In 2022, Saskatchewan has already invited 227 entrepreneurs.
