BCPNP invited up to 10 candidates under the Entrepreneur Streams

On August 30, 2022, British Columbia held new draws for business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, BC PNP invited 6 candidates. The lowest score of this round was 116 points, 5 points more compared to the previous draw.

In addition, the province invited less than 5 candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 129.

The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200.

120 points candidates can get for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc. Another 80 points are given for the business concept. This year, the province invited up to 39 entrepreneurs under the BCPNP.

OINP issued 781 invitations through the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduate streams

On August 30, 2022, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued 680 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the Masters Graduate stream.

The minimum score of this round was 37 points, one point fewer than it was in the previous draw.

On August 30, 2022, Ontario also invited 101 candidates under the PhD Graduate Stream.

The minimum score for this draw was 26, 2 points fewer than in the previous program-specific draw.

In 2022, the province invited 2,146 candidates under these two streams. In total, Ontario invited 13,053 candidates under all streams in 2022.

Manitoba invited 353 candidates in draw #154

On August 26, 2022, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #154, MPNP issued 259 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 619 points, 4 points fewer compared to the previous draw.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 58 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 708 points, 10 points fewer than in the previous round.

In addition, Manitoba invited 36 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 354 candidates, including 79 Express Entry candidates.

MPNP has invited 4,519 candidates in 2022, and 869 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

Saskatchewan invited 629 candidates under the SINP

On August 25, 2022, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 295 ITAs. Another 334 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.

The lowest score in both categories was 65 points, 2 points fewer than it was in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates under 10 different NOCs. This year, Saskatchewan has already invited 5,551 candidates.
