Ontario invited 301 French-speaking candidates in the OINP

On April 28, 2022, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) held the second round of invitations in Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. In this round, OINP issued 301 Invitations to Apply for the Francophone candidates.

The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) range of candidates who received the Notification of Interest from the OINP was between 460 and 467 points.

The Express Entry profiles of the candidates were created between April 28, 2021, and April 28, 2022. In 2022, Ontario invited 507 candidates under the FSSW stream.

Canada invited 829 provincial candidates in the new Express Entry invitation round

On April 27, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 829 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the new PNP-specific draw.

In round #221, the lowest score to get the ITA was 772 points, ten points fewer compared to the previous round.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was March 24, 2022 at 8:00:50 UTC. As of April 27, 2022, there are 203,773 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 2,849 more compared to the previous update.

In 2022, Canada invited 8,086 candidates to apply for PR in Express Entry.

British Columbia invited 148 Skilled Immigration and Tech candidates in the new BCPNP draws

On April 26, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates and Tech workers.

In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 112 invitations, with a minimum score of 85 points.

In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214), the province invited 23 candidates.

In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 7 candidates. In addition, the province issued 5 invitations in other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213).

The lowest score of those candidates was 65 points. In total, the province invited up to 148 candidates. In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 2,957 invitations.

Alberta invited 250 candidates and updated the AINP inventory

On April 26, 2022, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).

There were around 775 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 775 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

In addition, on April 14, 2022, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 250 Notifications of Interest (NOI).

The lowest score in this round was 356 points, 31 points more than it was in the previous draw.

Last year, AINP invited 6,608 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry. In 2022, Alberta has already invited 1,950 candidates.
